AIM OF THE SCHOOL

PREAMBLE

Sacred Heart Mission School is a catholic minority school founded by the Diocese of Bettiah and administered by its society which is a religious and charitable organization registered under Societies' Registration Act 1860. The Diocese provides directives and guidance from time to time for the smooth and proper administration and maintenance of order and discipline in its institution.

VISION

Being aware that education is an effective instrument to bring about personal development, social enlightenment and religious growth, the Diocese of Bettiah has established Christian Minority Educational Institution wherever people requested and administers them according to the provisions of article 29 of the Constitution of India and All India Catholic Education Policy of the CBCI Commission for Education and Culture. In and through them, it seeks to promote value based education with high excellence and inculcate in the students and patrons the values of justice like human dignity, liberty, equality and brotherhood.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

Keeping in mind the above mentioned objectives, this booklet containing the Service Rules for the employees and norms of conduct and discipline for all the Schools owned and managed by the Diocese of Bettiah purports to procure qualitative and valuable service from the staff and thereby to accelerate good performance of their duties. It also provides a frame of reference for both School Managing Committee and Governing Body Members of the Society to initiate disciplinary action against erring members, when necessary.
